We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Technician who is equal parts problem-solver and craftsman. This is not a standard general laborer role. You will be our boots-on-the-ground expert, responsible for identifying the root causes of water intrusion, building envelope failures, and more, and then executing the hands-on remediation work to put the home back together perfectly.
Assess, diagnose, and document building issues: water intrusion, mold, structural concerns, ventilation, and building envelope failures. You'll use moisture meters, thermal imaging, and inspection cameras to find root causes, not just symptoms. Then you'll prepare reports, recommend solutions, and support the remediation and repair process.

Communication - explain the problem and the solution to clients in a clear, professional, and reassuring manner

Strong skills in performing restoration work such as wood and metal framing, insulation and vapour barrier, drywall hanging, taping, mudding, and sanding (blending patches seamlessly), interior painting, and finishing
